"Pixels:"
  • Pixels:  Print vs. Computer Screen
    • If printing the picture the more pixels the better.
      • Generally between 150-300 dpi.
    • If using the picture on a computer screen it needs to fit on the monitor without scrolling.
      • Common computer resolution is 800 pixels by 600 pixels.

    • if you don't like what you see, edit or delete
  • Save Money and Time
    • Keep only the pictures you like or need.
    • No waste of unexposed film when you can't wait.

      • Highlight fieldtrip spots (before) not to miss ahead of time.
      • Review field trips (after) with pictures, discuss learning, share with other groups (parents).
    • Create assignments to record processes.
      • For example: lab equipment procedures, beginning of class procedures, end of class procedures,  care of classroom materials, pictures for vocabulary or reading lessons.
